Close to 50 Jeep enthusiasts and hundreds of interested fans came out to the Guam Raceway Park Sunday to witness the Jeep Jungleree.
According to event coordinator Marvin Matanane, 18 Jeeps entered the obstacle course event that took drivers through muddy and rocky terrain.
“The winners really showed off their Jeeps,” Matanane said. “It was such a successful event despite the rain. In fact, everyone loved the rain. It brought more to the event.”
The winners were Dom Godoy in the stock division and Chris Casil in the modified.
Matanane added that event organizers hope to hold this event annually but earlier in the year next time.
