PXC 38 fighters and fans gathered at Cowboy Ninja in Tumon to officially weigh-in for Friday night’s loaded fight card, set to throw down at the UOG Field House.
The story line of this PXC is not a bad-blood rivalry, but the return of some of Guam’s most exciting fighters, in Frank “The Crank” Camacho and Josh “Killa” Calvo.
Camacho will be taking on Japan’s Koshi Matsumoto at 155 lbs. and Calvo will take on the veteran Anthony Torres, who has fought in two UFC events. Crowd favorite Kailin Curran won her last fight at PXC 36, and will face off against Japan’s Emi Tomimatsu.
Kyle Aguon and Russell Doane will compete at 135 with the winner possibly getting a shot at the PXC Bantam Weight belt. World class Muay Thai will also be on display, with Rambaa Somdet and Rabin Catalan squaring off.
UFC’s Jon Tuck also made an appearance at the weigh-ins while on Guam for a two-week break before heading back to Arizona to prepare for his next fight.
