PRESS RELEASE – Sunday’s race was sponsored by Monster Energy and Cycles Plus and was a Trophy Race. The race was in support of Our Heroes in the Army National Guard, 600 of which will be heading to Afghanistan real soon for a years deployment.
Racing kicked off at noon with the mini atv class in which #23 Jordan Leon Guerrero took the win. His brother #75 Jesse Leon Guerrero took second with Kawasaki mounted Damian Manibusan placing third.
Up next was the kids minibike class with Ethan Manibusan taking the win aboard a Honda and Franklin Perez taking second on a Suzuki.
In the premier class of the day, the Open ATV’s ran a one-hour heat that saw Pete Castro take another overall win. Taking second was James Gumabon with Ray Manibusan placing third.
In the final race of the day the Open Motorcycle Class also ran a one-hour heat that saw #31 Tim Wenden take the win aboard his 450cc Honda. Taking second was #98 Marshal Vawter, Jr. with Honda mounted #223 Zachary Chang placing third.
Next on the calendar will be the first round of the Monster Energy 2013 Guam Motocross
