PXC 42: MEDIA MEETS FIGHTERS
PXC 42 is just two days away and some of the fighters were introduced to the media at the PXC 42 press conference at the PIC Amphitheater Wednesday afternoon.

PXC 42 is just two days away and some of the fighters were introduced to the media at the PXC 42 press conference at the PIC Amphitheater Wednesday afternoon.
Local favorite Frank “The Crank” Camacho addressed that his training camp has been great and he is on pace to make weight after failing to in the last PXC in Manila. Camacho showed a lot of respect towards his opponent Keita Nakamura.
“It’s an honor to be able to get in the cage with [Keita] and I have a lot of respect for him. I’m really excited for this fight,” stated Camacho.
His opponent, on the other hand, appeared to be more nervous than amped.
“I’m nervous. I know he’s very strong,” stated Nakamura’s translator.
Fan favorite, and female PXC pioneer Kailan Curran, has handled her rise to celebrity status on Guam in a humble manner.
“I just be me and try not to get too ahead of myself. I would like to see other girls have the confidence to train MMA since there has been a rise in female fighters in the sport,” Curran responded.
Curran’s opponent Yoo Jin Jung is making her MMA debut after admitting that the MMA scene in Korea is still very small, but on the rise.
The title bought between Jang Yong Kim and Toby Misech will be Kim’s first title defense. Both fighters had little to say on the build up of the fight with each men treating it like any other fight.
