19 fighters checked in and only 18 fighters made weight with a “no-show” from Frank “The Crank” Camacho who was believed to have suffered a last minute injury that will most likely cancel his bout against Japan’s Chuji Kato.

Meanwhile, the main event’s participants stepped on the scale below the 170-lb. limit as Josh Calvo and Zebaztian Kadestam made their title bout official.

But all the buzz was on the absence of Frank ‘The Crank’, arguably the Marianas’ most endeared fighter.

“We don’t have the 100% confirmed reason, his camp just contacted us that he suffered a last minute injury. He never weighed in so we don’t know what he’s weighing, whether that was the cause of it. He’s saying that the injury suffered in the past 24-48 hours is not something he can bounce back from in order to compete at a high level. That we understand, it’s unfortunate, and we still have to compensate his opponent for preparing himself and weighing in,” said PXC’s CEO EJ Calvo.

This will be the second PXC event in the past year Camacho has fallen from after missing weight in PXC 41 in the Philippines. Camacho was coming off a win over Kieta Nakamura in PXC 42 this past February, but the MMA star might be facing scrutiny after his late withdrawal.

“We’re going to put off how to handle [Camacho’s] future career after this event, it is what it is. This was another nice bout, but we just have to move on,” added Calvo.

Another fight that might be in jeopardy is the fight between McKlane Alfred and Saipan’s Mark Nuique who came in seven pounds over weight. Nuique looked fatigued  wearing sweat gear trying to shed the excess pounds, but still failed to make weight. Nuique was given the two-hour grace period to try and make weight before the bout is cancelled.

Here are the official weights of all the bouts:

Robin Eclavea 145.1 vs. Jeff Mesa 145

McKlane Alfred 125.2 vs. Mark Nuique 132

Eric Michael 168.4 vs. Han So Kim 169.5

Crisanto Pitpitunge 126 vs. Josh Duenas 125.7

Kyle Reyes 145.7 vs. Josh Sapinoso 144.6

Yusuke Yachi 144.7 vs. Ryan Mulvhill 145.3

Tomo Maesawa 111.8 vs. Cortney Casey 115.6

Troy Bantiag 135.2 vs. Kyle Aguon 135.6

Chuji Kato 155.6 vs. Frank Camacho (no show)

Josh Calvo 169 vs. Zebaztian Kadestam 169.6 – Welterweight Title Fight
