SOUTHERN DEFEATS JFK IN BATTLE OF SOFTBALL BRASS
Two softball dynasties met on the softball diamond Saturday afternoon as Southern alum took on the Islanders in the APL Women’s Fast pitch Softball League at the Piti Field. In a close battle, Southern’s offense found their groove as they defeated the Islanders 7-3.
Two softball dynasties met on the softball diamond Saturday afternoon as Southern alum took on the Islanders in the APL Women’s Fast pitch Softball League at the Piti Field. In a close battle, Southern’s offense found their groove as they defeated the Islanders 7-3.
Southern’s Saturday win improved their standing to (3-0) as the Islanders fall for just the first time (2-1).
Stay up to date with the APL League and GSPN as UCLA’s very own Madilyn Nickles will be hosting a clinic while playing alongside the stars of the APL in an All-Star Game in August! Nickles was awarded the Gatorade Softball Player of the Year out of high school and just completed her second year of softball for the Bruins. GSPN is bringing the Chamorrita Nickles and her family out in August!
