GUAM NEARING END OF 2019 PACIFIC GAMES

Guam’s Pacific Games stay in Samoa is coming to a close as they approach the final few days of competition.

A day after earning their first medal in the 1500m by Genina Criss who took Silver, Guam’s athletics team added another with Allison Bowman adding a Bronze in the steeplechase. The relay team of Richelle Tugade, Bowman, Regine Tugade and Madison Packbier set a new Guam National Record in the 4×100 with a 4:10.22.

Guam’s Men’s Volleyball team finished 9th place overall and the ladies lost to Solomon Islands to finished 7th.

The Men’s 3×3 Basketball team picked up a win in their first game and will be playing in the medal rounds Saturday.
