PRESS RELEASE – Round 7 of the 10 round 2022 Monster Energy Guam Motocross Championships was held this past Sunday at the Guam International Raceway in Yigo. Racing kicked off at 10 am with the schedule full of kid’s minibike and kids atv classes along with the bigger riders aboard the big bikes and atv’s. Weather along with course conditions were excellent making for another full day of high flying intense bar to bar racing.
Highlights and results In the Open Motorcycle class #85 CyclesPlus Kawasaki rider Blaze Aiken and #1 Little Jon Aguon split heat wins while current points leader #7 JR Cepeda aboard a Yamaha took a pair of seconds for the round. Overall Aiken was awarded the overall round 8 win with Aguon taking second and Cepeda third.

After seven of the ten rounds completed #7 JR Cepeda leads in the Opan Motorcycle class championship points with 336 points over #1 Little Jon Aguon with 308 points. #85 Blaze Aiken sits in third in the championships with 294 points.

In the Open Atv class #2 Georgie Santos aboard a Kawasaki swept both heats to take the round 8 win. CyclesPlus mounted #4 Robert Bucek finished second with Yamaha mounted #88 Camillo Lorenzo in third.

After seven of the ten rounds completed #4 Robert Bucek with 315 points moves into the Open Atv championship points lead. #2 Georgie Santos second in the championship with 291 points. Third in the championship points is #88 Camilo Lorenzo with 261 points.
In the Schoolboy/girl class Ktm mounted Local Strains team rider #10 Abraham Guerrero took the win in both heats. Taking second was #17 Isaiah Salas with #33 Mariana Wenden in third aboard a Ktm. After seven of ten rounds completed #10 Abraham Guerrero leads the championship in the Schoolboy class with 344 points over #25 Lawrence Limtiaco with 268 points. Third in the championship points is #33 Mariana Wenden with 262 points.
In the Open Minibike class #31 Richard Wenden on his Rocky Mountain Precast supported Ktm had yet another serious battle with #18 Jonathan Aguon aboard a Kawasaki. Wenden after battling it out with Aguon took the win with Aguon second and #8 Arceo Kanen on a Yamaha finishing third. Rest of the field finished as follows:

After seven of the ten rounds completed #31 Richard Wenden leads the championship in the Kids Open Minibike class with 341 points over #18 Jon Boy Aguon with 317 points. Third in the championship points is #23 Jonaye Cruz with 254 points.
In other class results Open Novice Motorcycle class saw Local Strains team rider #17 Isaiah Salas taking the win over #20 Zack Cruz. Third went to #96 Jude Sandlin. The rest of the field finished as follows:
