“Since the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa, we have experienced several challenges—from the Covid pandemic to the lack of swim facilities to have proper swim practices for our athletes. However, even in the face of adversity, our athletes have thrived, and we are sending one of the best and largest teams we have built for the Pacific Games.

“We are grateful to the community for pulling together during these hard times and for St. John’s School who graciously allowed our teams to conduct practice at their pool. We are excited to be competing and wish the very best for our athletes” Ed Ching, GSF President.

Team Guam swimmers are eager to compete in Solomon Islands with 22 other countries. The official start and opening ceremony will be on November 19th and the swim events start on November 20th.
