The 2023 ISA Football League has a new target start date of September 29 after a league meeting Friday afternoon.

The league will only have six teams as the Tiyan Titans and Sanchez Sharks have opted out of the season. League rules allow students from these schools to join any team of their choosing.

The confirmed teams are the reigning champion FD Friars, GW Geckos, Guam High Panthers, JFK Islanders, Southern Dolphins and Okkodo Bulldogs. There will be three games per weekend and all six teams will advance to the playoffs.

Some issues are still not settled regarding playing fields. So far, the Talofofo Field and Guam High Field are confirmed to be able to host night games. The JFK and GW fields should be ready for play come opening night.
