DODEA SPORTS ON HOLD DUE TO SHUTDOWN
Guam games will be affected

Bad news for DoDEA sports as the federal government shutdown effective Oct. 1 will put a halt to games.
All high school games with the Guam High Panthers as well as middle school games will be on hold until further notice.
In a story published by the Stars and Stripes, the effects goes across the globe affecting DODEA-Pacific as well as DODEA-Europe.
An official from DoDEA said the games on Guam are not being forfeited, but it’s now just a waiting game to see what happens and when the shutdown will be lifted.
