“We’re humbled by our performance, and we got a lot of work to do on Monday,” said Meno. Aguon echoed the sentiment, adding, “We gotta go back to the drawing board to prepare for our next game, but we have to credit our boys in the trenches.”

As a team, the Friars rushed for a whopping 332 yards.

FD opened the game with a methodical drive capped by a 15-yard touchdown pass from Kaynin McIntosh to Meno. Shane Untalan’s extra point made it 7–0. Guam High responded immediately with an 83-yard kickoff return by Braden Flinn, followed by a successful two-point run to take their only lead of the game at 8–7. It was unchartered territory for the Friars, experiencing a deficit.

McIntosh connected with Brayden Copp for a 9-yard touchdown to close the first quarter 14–8. Meno added a 7-yard rushing touchdown early in the second, though the PAT was blocked by Noah Harris. Guam High kept pace with a 65-yard screen pass from Flinn to Christian Polite and a two-point conversion to PJ Lorenzo Jr., narrowing the gap to 20–16. FD closed the half with a 5-yard touchdown run by Cole Brub and a two-point run by Landon Aguon to lead 28–16.

The second half belonged entirely to the Friars. Aguon hauled in a 19-yard touchdown pass from McIntosh and added a two-point run. Meno punched in a 1-yard score, followed by another two-point run from Aguon. Kaizayuh Flores capped the scoring with a 23-yard touchdown run and Aguon’s third successful two-point conversion of the night.

Guam High struggled to generate offense in the second half, while FD’s defense tightened up and their offense continued to roll.

Next week, the Panthers will host the Southern Dolphins at Guam High. The Friars will enjoy a bye week as they prepare to continue their streak.
