We’re just about halfway through the 2025 high school football season (including playoffs) and the Guam High Panthers made the biggest mark in Week 4.
Getting a late start to the season and forced to forfeit their first game because their gear came in late, the Panthers surprised the Southern Dolphins, who were beaming with confidence. The dynamic senior duo of Christian Polite and Noah Harris made the difference as the Panthers got a huge win 18-7. Too bad they won’t get to play the GW Geckos, whom they forfeited to, unless they meet up in the playoffs.
The Dolphins, meanwhile, got a dose of reality as the speed of Guam High was too much, despite controlling the ball for the majority of the game. Southern now faces the FD Friars this Friday, a steep hill to climb, especially with FD coming off its bye.
The GW Geckos did what they were supposed to in dismantling the Sanchez Sharks. They face the JFK Islanders this Saturday night before the big showdown with the Friars in Week 6.
Here is the latest league stats as of Week 4.
