COWBOYS SWEEP EAGLES IN SATURDAY YOUTH FOOTBALL

The Southern Cowboys handled business under a scorching Saturday afternoon sun, powering past the Guam Eagles 27–7 with a dominant performance on both sides of the ball.

The Cowboys leaned heavily on their aerial assault, slicing through the Eagles’ secondary for several passing touchdowns. Quarterback Ezekiel‑Rey Maysho was in full command of the offense, connecting on a series of sharp, timely throws that kept the chains moving and the scoreboard ticking.

The defining moment came in the closing seconds of the first half. Clinging to a one‑score lead, Maysho dropped back and launched a perfectly placed ball to Jayden Cruz, who elevated over two defenders, secured the catch, and dove into the end zone. The highlight‑reel play sent the Cowboys into halftime with a surge of momentum and a 19–7 advantage.

Defensively, the Cowboys were just as impressive. The unit surrendered only one touchdown all afternoon—a 70‑plus‑yard breakaway run by the Eagles in the second quarter, followed by a successful PAT. Outside of that lone explosive play, the Cowboys clamped down and controlled the pace.

With another convincing win in the books, the Cowboys continue to showcase a balanced, explosive brand of football that’s proving tough for any opponent to match.
