LADY OBISPOS FINISH SEASON UNBEATEN

The Bishop Baumgartner Lady Obispos finished their 2014 campaign unscratched and unscathed going 10-0 with a season finale win over the McCool Seahawks 42-25.

Lady Obispos A Perfect 10

The Bishop Baumgartner Lady Obispos finished their 2014 campaign unscratched and unscathed going 10-0 with a season finale win over the McCool Seahawks 42-25 on Monday.

Leading the way for the Obispos all season long was center Mia San Nicolas, who also put up a great game against the Seahawks by scoring 24 points while grabbing five rebounds and three steals.

The Lady Obispos B team also finished the season undefeated claiming both basketball’s top records in the 2014 season.

Lady Raiders Make The Boys Team

Two of the St. Anthony Raiders in guard Kirsten Silva (younger sister to 2014 IIAAG boys high school MVP Kurtis Silva) and center Monica Giger will be starting for the Raiders this weekend as they prepare to face a team from the Philippines as part of a friendship tournament for the school. Games will be played at the Raiders gym in Tamuning.

Silva is considered a flashy guard with great passing skills and court vision while Giger averaged 6 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 blocks a game for the team in the regular season.
