The Guam National Rugby Team will be leaving to Laos to play in the Asian Division 3 Tournament against Indonesia, China, and Laos on May 29th and is seeking your assistance in making it happen.
The Guam National Rugby Team will be leaving to Laos to play in the Asian Division 3 Tournament against Indonesia, China, and Laos on May 29th and 31st and the team is currently seeking the local communities assistance on fund raising for traveling for the tournament and future tournaments come years end.
The group of 20+ players are currently facing funding issues which has been holding them back from participating in more international tournaments. The team consists of many young players who are currently enrolled as full-time college students, which is already a large expense.

“Our national team has had very positive performances on the International level over the last few years beating countries with millions of people. The potential on this Island is tremendous, but without international experience, we are left a standstill in our movement up the world rankings,” stated team member Chris Sgro.
Guam hopes the fourth time is a charm having made the finals three straight times, but have fallen short by just one or two scores. The team has been training vigorously and have wave of international experience that they hope will aid them not only bring home a win, but a possible promotion to Division 2 in the following year.
