Yigo’s Jason Diaz and Josh came up big in the clutch while holding off a late-game rally from the visiting Philippines team in the second half. In the final minute, Philippines Sorita got hacked and sank both free throws to get within a single possession 60-58, but the Yigo defense held strong to give the Philippines team their first loss in the tournament.

The high flying Hawks couldn’t get past the undefeated Philippines stars in the finals. The visiting team held a double-digit lead through most of the contest, with the Hawks getting as close as only eight points in the second half.
