PRESS RELEASE – Harmon, Guam (26 April 2015)– The Rovers Football Club International defended their Budweiser Soccer League Division I championship title, ending their season with a 2-2 draw against the Payless Supermarkets Strykers FC Sunday at the Guam Football Association National Training Center.
This marks the second time the Rovers have participated in Division I and their second consecutive DI championship, winning the title in their inaugural season last year.
Not to be outdone, the Rovers’ Division II team was also able to clinch the title in their division last week.
The Rovers would not be able to achieve these results without the support of their generous sponsors: ARC Environmental Services, CTD Commercial Tire Depot, Lacoste, The Village, Sakura’s Kitchen, SET Electric and Green Lizard.
The Rovers Football Club is committed to fostering and further developing the youth soccer community on Guam, as well as providing opportunities for up and coming local players.
