Guam’s top bowler Jay Leon Guerrero showed he’s just as lethal on the court, leading 430-5 with 14 points to move past ’75 46-28. Don Brooks led ’75 in scoring with 12 points as they kept it close before a second half pull-away by 430-5.
The six time champions were tested early against the young 2017 class, but a 26 point effort from ’06’s Julius Yu, which included six three pointers, was enough to keep ’06 ahead for good by taking a Sunday win 61-48. Rudy Gaza connected on four three pointers to lead 2017 with 14 points.
