GML: RAYS CLOSE OUT ORIOLES IN GAME 5

The GML Championship series was finally allowed to complete Game 5 with the IT&E Rays closing out the Autospot Crown Orioles 7-1 Friday evening at the Paseo Field. Game 5 had to be replayed in it’s entirety after Sunday’s game had to be called in the 4th inning.

The GML Championship series was finally allowed to complete Game 5 with the IT&E Rays closing out the Autospot Crown Orioles 7-1 Friday evening at the Paseo Field. Game 5 had to be replayed in it’s entirety after Sunday’s game had to be called in the 4th inning.

The Rays started to pull away in the 5th inning, pouring in four runs to take a 6-0 lead.

Winning pitcher Paul Pangelinan ended his night with 4ks and Orioles Roke Alcantara took the loss earning 5ks on the night. Rays BJ Balajadia went 2-of-4 with one run and an RBI and Dom Cruz hit 2-of-5 with one run and 3RBI’s.

Jathan Muna Barnes went 3-of-5 and Coby Barnes went 3-of-4. The O’s only managed to bring in one run off of nine hits.
