CLEAR SKIES WELCOME THE 2019 RUGBY SEASON

The 2019 Rugby season got their first set of games underway at the Okkodo Field all-day Saturday. The ladies took the field first with the Royals and Geckos getting off to a solid 2-0 start.

The boys matches were highlighted by a rematch of the IIAAG title game from last season in an afternoon game between the Sanchez Sharks and FD Friars. A late try in the closing minutes by Friar Noah Diaz off a kick from Adryan Lujan gave the Friars the 7-0 win.

The JFK Islanders defeated the Tiyan Titans 15-5 in the last game of the day.
