Thursday afternoon’s beach volleyball games at the GFA sand court was quite odd. Three teams entered the courts, but only one set was played on the day.

The Tiyan Titans and GW Geckos needed to continue their game from earlier in the week Tuesday, which required only one set to be played with Tiyan having already won the first set Tuesday. The Titans defeated the Geckos 21-13 in the lone set to take the overall team win 2-1.

The FD Friars were ready to debut their uniforms for the firs time, but their opponents in the St. Paul Warriors didn’t show. A schedule change was made, to which all parties had to agree to, but the day ended with FD picking up a forfeit win.
