The Bank of Guam Men’s Basketball team win over Hong Kong earlier this week was only furthered and bested by their second meeting Tuesday as the tiny island toppled the host 112-66 in the FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers. Guam opened up the 1st quarter much like they did in Game 1, commanding the game to the tune of a 30-8 lead and once again, didn’t look back.
Jericho Cruz was stellar in the 1st half again netting 17 points, finishing with a team high 20. Tai Wesley had a monster double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds and Darren Hechanova was flirting with a triple-double with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
