IJIMA MARTIN, MATIENZO WIN NATIONAL TRIATHLON CHAMPIONSHIPS
Manami Ijima Martin is still the best triathlete on Guam, beating the field this morning in the Guam National Triathlon Championships in Malesso.
Martin finished just around the two-hour mark followed by the first male finish Ryan Matienzo five minutes later.
“Years of swimming and I’ve been training for triathlon during the pandemic, even with no races in sight. But definitely I’m very grateful to be able to still stay healthy and do it!”
Craig Weymouth and Mark Imazu followed Matienzo in the male division while Kristina Ingvarsson Guerrero was the next female behind Martin.
