ACTION PACKED RUGBY DAY AS TOP TEAMS SHOW STRENGTH
Friars, Bulldogs, Panthers, Dolphins pick up boys wins
Heading into Thanksgiving Weekend, the ISA Rugby League held a full slate of varsity matches Saturday at the Wettengel Rugby Field.
The undefeated FD Friars and Okkodo Bulldogs still look like championship contenders. The Bulldogs took care of a tough GW squad 29-12 while the Friars beat the Tiyan Titans via forfeit.
The Guam High Panthers are also title contenders. Their athleticism and speed in the open field was the difference against the Sanchez Sharks 29-24. And in a closely contested match, the Southern Dolphins edged the JFK Islanders 20-19.
