SIFA’S SABLAN SECURES MVP
Manta Rays 8th grader gets top spot in All-Island list
It’s been bright season for the SIFA Manta Rays girls volleyball team.
After an incredible turnaround that saw them go from last place to the championship game of the 2023 IIAAG Girls Volleyball League, they now can add that they have the league MVP on their squad as 8th grader Cyan Sablan was named the Most Valuable Player.
“Cyan was the anchor on a team that had an incredible run. Combined with co-captain and fellow all-star Eden Caballero, the duo helped lead a team of blue-collar workers that just showed up and got the job done when they needed it,” SIFA head coach Al Garrido said.
