ARIANA CRUZ: NO SURPRISE IIAAG MVP
Academy setter easy choice for MVP
After guiding the Academy Cougars to back-to-back IIAAG and Far East Girls Volleyball championships, senior setter Ariana Cruz caps off her high school career with the MVP distinction for the IIAAG league.
Cruz is coming off her second straight Far East tournament MVP and championship Tuesday night.
“Ariana is the best setter that I have trained to date,” said Academy coach Manny Guarin. “She can obviously set (most sophisticated offense than any other AOLG team); she blocks unlike most setters in the league; excellent game IQ; she is one of the best servers on the team.”
