PRESS RELEASE – Grapplers Quest, the foremost grappling, submission, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) tournament, is set for a triumphant return with a relaunch event on Guam this weekend, January 27th & 28th at the UOG Calvo Field House.
Founded by Brian Cimins, Grapplers Quest has been instrumental in the growth of grappling sports. MMA icon Brandon Vera, reflecting on his journey, states, “Grapplers Quest is a tournament that helped me grow up in the sport.”
With a vision to expand Grapplers Quest’s reach, Vera proposed hosting tournaments not only on Guam but also in the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Hawaii, and Virginia. Vera expresses pride and excitement about hosting the first event on Guam, presenting a unique opportunity to introduce a well organized jiujitsu tournament to the community and enjoy a family-friendly event within the revamped product.
Grapplers, enthusiasts, and the community are invited to witness the thrill as Guam becomes the epicenter of top-tier grappling action. Grappler Quest will have competitors from Australia, Japan, California, CMNI, and the FSM as well as food and entertainment like food trucks, beverages from Pepsi Cola & Gatorade, Acai Roots bowls, an E-Games championship by Marianas E-Sports league, and a jumper station for kids. It’s an event for the whole family to enjoy.
