The defending champion Guam High Panthers are off to a good start once again in the 2024 ISA Softball League.
Led by star pitcher Brinnlyn Hardt, the Panthers dominated the Tiyan Titans 16-1 Saturday afternoon in a rematch of last year’s championship.
Guam High scored seven runs in the first inning and never looked back, all the while the junior pitcher was dealing in the circle. Hardt struck out 10 batters and walked none. She did, however, give up a lone run in the fourth inning off back-to-back hits from Tiyan’s Lyrah Dirige and Nevaeh Bagoyo.
Offensively, Hardt, Madalyn Mansel and Eralyn Miller all had two hits to lead Guam High.
The Panthers are looking to make it three straight championships.
