Nicola Lagatao successfully lifted 4 of her 6 attempts for a combined 136kg in the snatch (59kg) and clean & jerk (77kg).
The combined and clean & jerk lifts were better than her Pacific Games gold medal lifts from November 2023.
She finished in 11th place in the 49kg division of the women’s weightlifting event at the Paris Olympics on Wednesday.
