PRESS RELEASE – No. 1 Bank of Guam Strykers FC will take on No. 2 NAPA Rovers FC to determine the first-ever champions of the new Bud Light G-League Women Sunday afternoon at the Guam Football Association National Training Center beginning at 3:30 p.m.
The Strykers, champions of the previous Bud Light Women’s Soccer League in 2019, 2022, and 2023, finished the 21-week regular season scoring 79 goals and allowing seven. The Strykers suffered only one loss during the regular season – a 1-3 loss to the Sidekick SC on Apr. 21. The league was suspended for the 2020 and 2021 seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Rovers finished the regular season scoring 55 goals and allowing nine, finishing with a 14-3 record for the No. 2 spot on the leaderboard and a ticket to the league final Sunday.
Head-to-head, the Strykers lead the Rovers with wins in the teams’ two matchups this year – the first on Mar. 2 and the second on Aug. 31. Both matches resulted in 1-0 wins for the Strykers.
Following Sunday’s championship, a short awards ceremony will be held for the top two teams and individual awards. Heavy Hitters Heat’s Taylor Camin finished on top of the league’s Golden Boot race, scoring 27 goals in the regular season. Rovers’ Kiarra Hutcherson completed the regular season as the top goalkeeper to claim the 2024 Golden Glove award.
