Fitness enthusiasts from across the island are invited to the 2025 Guam Fit Expo, happening this Saturday and Sunday, July 26-27, at the Leo Palace Resort.
The two-day event will feature a variety of showcases for all levels of fitness, kicking off with the highly anticipated WNBF Bodybuilding Show, followed by Music x Movement by Senhalom, multiple fitness classes, health seminars, and a 2K/5K run. For the first time ever, the expo will introduce GUROX, an endurance race inspired by the global HYROX competitions.
“GUROX is very similar to HYROX, an endurance-type race that incorporates running and a series of workouts using machines and stand-free equipment,” said Anmol Sobti, lead organizer of GUROX. This inaugural GUROX will host 36 competitors across 16 teams, testing their strength, stamina, and teamwork.
“The Guam Fit Expo is all about bringing together our island’s fitness community,” said Guam Fit Expo President Domer Gabriel. “This year’s theme, Elevate—Mind, Body, and Recovery, is aimed to showcase all aspects of fitness and make the point that fitness is not only physical. It is also mental, and recovery is a big part of that process.”
In addition to the competitions and classes, the expo will feature numerous vendor booths and activation stations offering products, services, and samples that promote a healthier lifestyle.
“This expo is catered to everyone. Open to everyone. Regardless of what level of athleticism you are at, this Fit Expo is for everyone,” Gabriel emphasized.
Tickets for the event are available now and can be purchased online at www.guamtime.net.
