In a weekend shocker, Guam’s Jeff Cobb made his debut appearance in the WWE: Backlash promotion in St. Louis, Missouri.

Cobb’s appearance came during the four-way match for the WWE United States championship early in card.

“Wait! That’s one of the biggest free agents on the planet,” the announcer said. “That’s Jeff Cobb.”

Cobb came from the crowd to put a hurting on LA Knight before tossing him back into the ring. The ‘assist’ eventually led to Jacob Fatu defending his title.

COBB Q&A (Oct 2024)

“It feels great to finally be able to wrestle for the biggest wrestling company in the world!,” Cobb told GSPN after his WWE debut. “The same as if I was drafted to the NBA, MLB or the NFL. It was a long journey with a lot of ups and downs and a lot of obstacles but I’ve finally achieved my dream! It means a lot to me and hopefully if there is anyone from Guam or anywhere far away, that it is very possible to realize your dreams as long as you are willing to put in the hard work.”

Backlash was highlighted by John Cena defending his WWE championship belt over Randy Orton.

Cobb added that his new agreement with the WWE is exclusive. We can only wait and see what’s next for him in this exciting chapter of his career.
