Joseph Green runs a season-best 10.85 seconds in Heat 5 of the men’s 100m preliminary round at the Paris Olympics.

Green finished in 5th place out of 8 runners, but missed advancing to Round 1 by .31 of a second.

The Father Duenas alumni and current Arizona Wildcats runner experienced his first ever Olympic Games.

Guam has a few days until the rest of the our athletes compete. Raina Taitingfong gets going in canoeing on Aug. 7/8 while wrestling sisters Rckaela and Mia-Lahnee Aquino start on Wednesday as well. Nicola Lagatao will do her weightlifting event early in the morning on Aug. 8.
