      In a nail-biting matchup that was decided in overtime, the PFC Islanders (JFK) held on to defeat the Paradise Phoenix Sons (FD) 64-62 in Game 3 of the Islandwide Alumni Open Division playoffs. The win secures the Islanders spot in the finals on Sunday where they will face the the Elite Phoenix Sons in Game 1.

      The St. Paul Warriors are running both their Varsity and JV teams in the 2018 ACSC Boys Volleyball Tournament that kicked off action at the UOG Field House Wednesday. The six-team tournament will conclude pool play Thursday with the championship game set for Saturday at the St. Paul gym.

      Sunday afternoon in the Metgot playoff match between the Eagles and the Outlaws, the Eagles found themselves exiting the playoffs early at the hands of the lower-seeded Outlaw team. The Outlaws were able to capitalize on a few Eagle mistakes and turn them into to touchdowns to give them the 20-12 victory.

      The storied Southern Dolphins football season officially came to an end Saturday evening as the JFK Islanders moved past Southern in the first round of the playoffs. Though shaky for most of the game, the home team Islanders managed to hold off two Dolphin goal line attempts to get a 12-0 victory.
