In a much-anticipated battle between the two undefeated teams in the Matua division, the Northern Falcons and the Hensel Phelps Giants, the competitiveness was more heated than expected—and so were tempers.
The rivalry between the teams was clear, as both teams played with aggressiveness from the start to the finish, wanting to keep their untainted records. Tempers were worn thin, as only a few minutes into the game, Jerik Reyes was ejected from the game due to unsportsman-like conduct and scuffles between players became common.
The Giants dominated in the first half thanks to all-around player Joseph Sanchez, who secured a 14-0 lead right before the half catching a 48–yard touchdown reception. The Giants proved to be to much for the Falcons offense as their first three plays of the game were stopped behind the line of scrimmage for a loss of almost ten yards.

After the half, a different Falcons showed up. For there first touchdown of the game, Jaythaniel Cruz connected with Aiden Ferrara for a whopping 65-yard touchdown reception. Ferrara also kicked the two-point conversion and sent it through the uprights to make the score 14-8.
A few minutes later, Falcons Cris Naputi intercepted a pass intended for Sanchez giving the Falcons another shot at the score. However, they were unable to hold on to the ball as Giants David Cruz recovered the fumble.

Sanchez continued to make key runs, inching his Giants down the field. Sanchez brought the line of scrimmage to the twenty yard line, putting his team in a good position to score.
In the ensuing play, Juan King connected with Rico Cotelesse to extend their lead 20-8. Napu Topasnia converted the two-point conversion making the score 22-8.
The Falcons answered back with a touchdown of their own. Naputi made a behind-the-shoulder catch after Cruz threw a perfect 20-yard pass right down the middle. Noah Argallon of the Giants blocked the Falcons attempt at the kick leaving the score at 22-14.
The Giants now improve to 4-0, remaining as the only undefeated team in the Matua division. The Falcons now fall to 3-1.
