The Amigos would break a 4-4 tie in the 4th inning and push four runs across to take a 8-4 lead into the last inning and then hold off a 2 out last inning rally by Yona to hold on for the 8-6 win.

Yona would score 3 runs in the top of the 3rd inning to take an early 4-2 lead over the two time champion Amigos.  Vicente Quenga and Michael Concepcion would start the inning with singles before Cody Terlaje would drive them in with a double to deep center.  Karl Conway would walk and come in to score on a rbi ground out by RJ Mendiola to give Yona the 4-2 lead.

The Amigos would answer in the bottom half of the 3rd inning with Brod Santos and Florencio Binuya contributing rbi singles to tie up the game through three innings of play.

In the bottom of the 4th inning Santos would put the Amigos ahead 5-4 driving in Anthony Aguon with an rbi double.  The Amigos would add insurance runs in the 5th and 6th innings with clutch two out rbi singles by Aguon and Bruce San Nicolas putting the Amigos on top 8-4 going into the last inning.

In their last at bats Yona would not go quietly getting two runners on base thanks to an error and walk.  TJ Terlaje and Vince Sioco would come through with big two out rbi singles cutting the Amigos lead to 8-6 with runners on 1st and 2nd and two outs.  Eric Balajadia would ground a single between shortstop and third base and Amigos left fielder Bruce San Nicolas would come up throwing as Yona baserunner TJ Terlaje would try to score from 2nd base on the hit.  San Nicolas would throw a seed to plate with a great tag by catcher Brod Santos nipping Terlaje just before he touched the plate giving the Amigos a hard fought 8-6 win.

Paul Campos would go the distance for the Amigos to pick up the win.   Brod Santos picks up Strike Zone Player of the Game going 2-3 with 2 runs, 2 rbi and great defense behind the plate.  The Amigos advance to the winner’s bracket final four where they take on the #3 Talofofo Rangers this Sunday at 6pm.
