The Pepsi Warriors got to Cars Plus Rams quarterback Will Williams early and often to cruise to a 35-0 blow-out victory Saturday during their second meeting at the UOG field.  The Warriors took the first meeting 16-7 making it a season sweep before the playoffs.  The Warriors are the Miller Football Leagues only undefeated team at 5-0.

Williams took an awkward fall in the first quarter, taking a hit from one of the Warriors’ defenders, injuring his throwing hand on the play which prevented him from throwing the ball for the rest of the game.  Rams fullback Jacob Torres took over as the QB but never got the offense together bringing the Rams to the red zone just once where they turned it over on downs.

The ground assault was in full effect for the Warriors scoring three touchdowns on the ground from QB Danny Manibusan along with running backs Xavier Reyes and Hosea Ware.  Reyes scored late in the third quarter while Ware tacked on the final points of the game in the fourth to finalize the score 35-0.

Manibusan scored the first touchdown in the first quarter on a QB-keeper after two big third down conversions by Ware on the drive.

Warriors linebacker Ryan Rios sacked Williams on the Rams first play of the game with the Rams going three-and-out on their first two drives of the first quarter.  The Warriors defense followed through with a safety in the quarter to go up 8-0, setting the tone for the game.  Rios got another sack in the second quarter.

Manibusan hit Warriors receiver Lingo Quichocho for highlight reel catch over two Rams defenders in the second quarter, with Quichocho reeling it in for a 15-yard touchdown.  Manibusan closed out the half with another touchdown tossing a strike to a wide-open Sandy Fejeran who went untouched for an 18-yard score to go up 22-0.

Rams Danny Cepeda grabbed an interception in the second quarter but the Rams offense was unable to get any positive yardage due to the hurting Williams.  The Rams star QB was seen favoring his wrist throughout the game taking snaps at halfback instead.

The Warriors stand as the only undefeated team at 5-0 while the Rams drop to 2-3
