The Pepsi Warriors continue their dominance over the Budweiser Football League after defeating the Cars Plus Rams for the second time this season 30-6, improving to a perfect 4-0 on the season while the Rams drop to 0-4 still searching for their first win.
The Warriors had shutout the Rams through three quarters after running back Hosea Ware gashed the defense for a 36-yard touchdown run, his second of the game, to go up 22-0.
The Rams avoided the shutout after quarterback Tom Medler broke free for a 30-yard touchdown run to make the score 22-6.
Pepsi tacked on another touchdown in the fourth quarter as quarterback Danny Manibusan tossed his second touchdown of the game to receiver Paul Unger from five yards out to final the score at 30-6.
Manibusan had hit Jacob Torres for the games first score in the first quarter, followed by a Ware run to quickly go up 14-0 in the second quarter.
The 1-2 DLX Knights will play the 2-1 Hal’s Angels Sunday night to finish off the weekend.
