One of the best offensive lineman in the Pac 12 today, a NFL lineman tomorrow?
Zach Banner moved one step closer of being the first player of Chamorro descent to make it to the NFL after being named to the First Team Offense of the All-Pac-12 team today in California.
“Thank you to my family, my coaches, my teammates, and my fans,” Banner said on his Instagram post. “To be named the best Offensive Tackle in the Pac12 is a blessing, and I can’t tell you how hard I’ve worked to get here.”
The 6-foot-9, 360-lb. right tackle was in intricate part of the USC Trojans’ big win over cross-town rival UCLA Bruins last weekend where the Trojans racked up 254 yards on 59 carries to win the Pac-12 South division.
It was the first time USC beat UCLA in four years.

The All-Tournament selection were Zhion Macapinlac JFK, Darwin Ecijan JFK, Matthew Quinata Southern, and Malcom Fernandez Tiyan.
JFK’s Collin Rillamas was named tournament MVP.
