PALAU FACILITIES AWAIT BUSY DAYS AHEAD

Host country ready to host 24 nations

By Charlotte Oh

KOROR, Palau – With just two days to go until the 2025 Pacific Mini Games, Palau’s sporting facilities are ready to welcome athletes from Guam and across the region.

Eleven different sports venues have been built or renovated for the preparation of the games, giving the island a vibrant new look. Alongside the aid of Taiwan, Palau has dedicated significant effort to ensuring every facility is ready for competition.

From a fresh blue track and field to baseball fields, beach volleyball courts, gymnasiums, and more, the island is pumping with anticipation as the games draw near.

The brightly painted buildings and banners around the island are welcoming athletes, spectators, and officials for an inspiring and spirited event. As more of Guam’s athletes are preparing and flying in, let’s give them our full support for the exciting days of competition ahead.
