JFK’S TANGADIK GARNERS SOFTBALL MVP

JFK pitcher Destiny Tangadik was named the 2026 high school fastpitch softball Most Valuable Players, as voted by the league coaches.

Tangadik led the Islanders to the championship game and nearly pulled off the upset over the undefeated Academy Cougars, but the Cougars made an incredible comeback, to win their third straight title.

Both Academy and JFK placed four players on the First Team list.
