Juwan Jacobs was awarded the IIAGG Football Offensive MVP. He made his senior regular season count. Jacobs, in five games, accounted for six touchdowns, nearly 400 yards receiving, over 100 yards rushing, one interception, and numerous tackles on defense. We caught up with him for an interview (Not literally I run like a 5.6 40 YD).
GSPN: Were you surprised you won the Offensive MVP?
JJ: Yes I was, I thought there were other great offensive players on my team like Lorden ( fellow teammate L.J. Aguon).
GSPN: Your brother Devon won the Offensive MVP in 2010. Was your brother proud of you?
JJ: He was very proud and told me he always knew I could do it, and that I always had the potential in being better than him.
GSPN: How has your game improved from last year?
JJ: The player I am today would outmatch the player I was last year by far. I went from one touchdown that whole season to scoring at least once a game

GSPN: Did you attend any summer football camps or did you just do summer conditioning here in Guam?
JJ: I trained with my dad and younger brothers here on island.
GSPN: So, Guam High will get to possibly reload with your brothers in the future. How old are they and their names?
JJ: Rasean Jacobs 11 and Travon Jacobs 10
GSPN: What are your college choices?
JJ: Naval Academy is my first choice, another choice would be to go to Golden West and play with my brother.
GSPN: Yes, the Guam High pipeline with your brother and Nijee Smith are both on the team. Matthew Eaton is on their rivals and so is Jarrett Mitchell from Kubasaki in Okinawa. Do you envision a football season where Guam could have a player recruited for Division I or II from any IIAGG School?
JJ: Yes I do, there is a lot of talent in these IIAGG schools.
GSPN: Finally, how important is it to win the island title this year?
JJ: It’s very important to me and the team, being a large group of seniors we all want to go out with a bang.
