The Cars Plus Rams ran up the score 65-0 in their Miller Football League matchup Sunday at UOG field against the Chili’s Falcons.
The Rams took over the first half ending with the score at 44-0, adding another 21 points before the final whistle was blown.
Quarterback Will Williams brought his Rams to first and goal at the 7-yard line after tacking in a 50-yard run. After two incomplete passes into the end zone, Rodney Benning ran in for a 7-yard touchdown, followed by Jason Baza’s PAT making the score 51-0.
Williams then threw 29 yards to wide receiver Jacob Torres, making the reception with two defenders on the play and in the end zone. Baza easily sent the ball through the uprights, and the four minute warning was called.

In first half action, Danny Cepeda and Cruz recorded touchdowns early in the game. Williams followed with a 40-yard touchdown of his own, making the score 18-0. Williams then threw two pass completions in a row to Adam Becker for a two and 26-yarder, respectively.
Williams then connected with Jesse “Pumpy” Manglona for a 14-yard completion, lengthening the gap to 37-0.
In the ensuing kickoff, a fumble by the Falcons gave the Rams possession once again. At first and ten at the 39-yard line, Williams ran all the way to the end zone to end the half.
Williams ended the game with 310 yards rushing, going 11 for 17 and 190 yards passing; Manglona gathered 51 yards rushing.
