The GHRA basketball league continued to storm through at the Tamuning gym with a couple of lopsided games playing out in Thursday night action.
Calvo’s Insurance 89, Bank Pacific 28
After beginning the game on a 15-0 run, the guys at Calvo’s Insurance proved to have too much offensive firepower for Bank Pacific.
Jared Meno and Nate Torres led the way for Calvo’s with 15 points with both men doing most of their damage from down town. Meno and Torres each had three three-pointers for the game combining for six of the teams 10 total.
Calvo’s jumped out to a 41-8 half-time lead as their defense turned many opportunities into easy fast break buckets.
Bank Pacific had a better outing in the second half more than doubling their point total from the first half netting 20 in the quarter.
Ernesto Miranda and Dante Esguerra had eight points to lead Bank Pacific.
Sushi Rock 83, Triple J 35
Sushi Rock – James White 23 points, David Robins 18 points.
UOG 50, Quality Distributors 40
UOG – Nilo Colitoy 13 points
Quality – Randy Alegre 22 points
