The IIAAG officially released their 1st Quarter sports schedule for football, girls volleyball, golf and cross country. Despite the impending departure from GDOE from the IIAAG as early as January 2020, newly elected President Terry DeBold stated the IIAAG will carry on and cross that bride when it comes.

Volleyball
The girls volleyball season will begin on August 27th. Each team will get a one-game round-robin during the season where the top eight teams will jump into the playoffs starting October 11th. The 3rd place and Championship game will conclude on October 18th.
Cross Country
Runners will get their first races in on August 26th and each school will face each other at least once before the big All-Island Meet on October 10th.
