PROLINE DRIFTING CHAMPION FINALE

PRESS RELEASE – With just a week to prepare after just finishing round 4, Seven drivers gathered to put on probably one of the most exciting performances of the season. Jasper Leong made a comeback from a broken vehicle in the last round with some impressive qualifying runs and worked his way into finishing 3rd in this round and the season. Vince Valencia showed out during this last round. Valencia, a rookie in this season laid down some awesome runs during qualifying, madie it into the semi’s and was very close to getting the edge over top driver and teammate Von Burrell if it wasn’t for a spin out right before the finish line on his lead run.

Devin Pablo was a newcomer in his yellow Z. He just started learning how to drift and jumped in head first into his first competition. Kudos to Devin and we look forward to seeing more of him in the next season.

The pressure was heavy on defending champion Karl Dumasig. 2 points separated him and leader Von Burrell for the season and if he took this round it would have resulted in a sudden death match to break the tie for the championships… Unfortunately for Dumasig, Burrell was able to hang tight to scoop the win for this round and the 2021 season.

A huge congratulations to Von Burrell for his win and all the drivers for their hard work to continue with their passion for drifting and competition during another tough year of health restrictions and shortage of track time.
