Easter weekend featured a quiet sports calendar, for the exception of high school paddling.
Great weather conditions had the young paddlers put up impressive times in the 1-mile event.
The JFK Islanders swept the boys, girls and mixed events. The boys squeaked out the fastest time of the day, edging out the FD Friars by under a second.
The girls had an easier time on the water, beating their closest opponent by over 14 seconds.
In the mixed division, the Islanders beat their closes challenger by over seven seconds.
