KIDS AQUATHON BRINGS OUT FUTURE STARS

Podium results from youth event

PRESS RELEASE – It was a beautiful day for the Guam Triathlon Federation (GTF)  Kids Aquathon on Saturday, October 28th! Kids ranging from 8 to 14 years old had the opportunity to showcase their fantastic swim and run skills.

The water was absolutely beautiful with clear waters and the perfect tide: not too high, not too low. The advanced division comprised of a 500 meter swim with a 3km run. The intermediate division was a 250 meter swim with a 1.5km run.

Congrats to Sanchez senior Kayna Kanemoto for breaking the Guam National High School record in the Javelin throw.
On April 18th, the multi-sport athlete broke her own record with a distance of 34.17 meters. Kanemoto destroyed her previous record of 31.99 meters set last year.
