LEGACY VOLLEYBALL OFFERING CHRISTMAS BREAK CAMP

Two sessions available

PRESS RELEASE – As the joyous holiday season approaches, Legacy Volleyball Club is gearing up to transform the Christmas break into an unforgettable and active experience for elementary and middle school children. Hosted at the iLearn Academy Charter School gym, the club’s 2nd annual Christmas Volleyball Camp promises days filled with skill-building, gameplay, and a deep appreciation for the sport.

Legacy Director Al Garrido

Club director, Al Garrido, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “It’s one of our favorite times of the year. While parents are immersed in work or holiday shopping, they can entrust us with their children, ensuring they stay active and engaged in the exciting world of volleyball.” Garrido continued, “Our Christmas
camps focus on more than just fundamentals; we aim to instill a love for the game in each participant.”

As an extra special treat, the camp coincides with the one-year anniversary of Legacy Volleyball Club, marked on December 22. Reflecting on the success of the inaugural camp held at St. Paul Christian gym, Garrido shared, “We packed that gym throughout the break, with 2nd graders through high school students participating. It was a lot of fun and we built our current club teams originating with that camp.”

This year, the club’s emphasis is on the younger age groups, providing a dynamic and educational experience for elementary and middle school children.

Celebrating their growth, Legacy Volleyball Club has expanded from its roots as a middle school girls team at the beginning of 2023 to supporting two junior boys club teams, a U18 girls club team, and the development of a middle school boys volleyball club. It’s exciting news that the club will host its very first elementary volleyball team exhibition games on Saturday, December 16.

Join the club for a festive celebration of volleyball, skill development, and the incredible journey of Legacy Volleyball Club!
